Ingredients:
- Hot dogs - four (or 8 if everyone is very hungry)
- Hamburger buns - one for each hot dog
- Lettuce
Directions:
- Starting about one-half inch from one end of a hot dog, pierce it with a sharp knife and slice
lengthwise down the middle.
- Turn it one quarter and repeat, so you have four long "legs" attached at one end.
- Cook like a regular hot dog on the stovetop, grill or campfire, getting help from an adult.
- The "legs" will curl naturally as the hot dog cooks, so when it's done it will look just like
a squid.
- Arrange some lettuce on the bottom half of a hamburger bun and place the "squid" on top.
- Punch a hole in the center of the top of the bun and put it over the squid with the head
sticking out.
Now you have a squid and seaweed sandwich!
